Mid-Autumn festival celebration

Mid autumn festival is one of my favourite festival other than Christmas. Traditionally, it is an occasion spent with family members although I'm a mum of 2, I still enjoy playing with paper lanterns and placing candles along the path.
Every year, we are invited by the boys CC centre to join in the celebration. This year, they are holding lantern-making competition. Due to time constraint, we didn't take part but we join in the fun of voting for the best handmade lantern !

Now than I realise the children and parents are so creative! Lots of lanterns on display and for us to vote!

Both my boys voted for this! Beautiful and creative!

After the voting, there's games and performance from Lervin's class, K1!
Lervin is still kinda shy when performing in front of the crowd. But his best buddy, Shanice, performs really well! From what I know, she has stage fright and asking her to perform on stage is kinda difficult. That's such a big improvement! =) Hope my boys can be perform confidently on stage someday!

It's time to carry lighted lanterns to walk round a few blocks!

Big round moon !

The event ended about 8.30pm and we went home change and travel to mum's place!
Leroy, as usual is always so helpful. Always volunteer to carry things without being ask to. =)

See how happy he is when he knows we are going to mahmah's house.

Had our dinner and we bring the dog for a walk! Cousin put her dog at our place as they're going for vacation.

Like uncle. Haha!!
