Restaurant :Tim Ho Wan / Pre-holiday meetup

We had planned a meetup before our trip to discuss about our itinerary! Of course before our long discussion we need food!! The lady suggest Tim Ho Wan which is at PS. She mentioned about the 3hrs Q. I was like 'what's so fantastic about the dimsum?' And so we decided to give it a try.

We reached there about 11am and there's already a Q! Seeing the Q makes me feel that I was queuing for some really good food and I was sooo looking forward to it! *mindset of typical singaporean*

A picture while waiting!

The menu! (I had enlarge the picture for easier browsing)
Oh ya! The hot seller 'baked bun with bbq pork' is only entitled 1 order per person.

Our order. It's too much to 2 of us.

A personal opinion. This is the WORST dimsum I'd ever eaten! Totally over-rated and over price. There's sure half of the food or even more left for each dish when we leave the place. Not gonna step my foot in there anymore.

Leave the restaurant and went opp to starbucks to chill and do research for our trip! Brought my laptop along and there's no wifi here! I thought all coffee house should have... Anywhere I connect from my line.

Went to Sephora to get some stuffs. Friendly and helpful staffs they have!

My 'sticky' hus came to look for us and we had teochew mui for dinner at tiong bahru before going KTV!

The curious boys.

I always ask the boys to watch out when the walk along the pathway as there might have snails which we had seen many being crushed on the pathway.
Leroy first notice this snail and quickly alert us before we stepped on it.
Curious boys!
Leroy asked why there's water behind the snail and he said is it the snail drink too much water? Lol!

Highest PSI recorded.

A chaos in office when PSI hits 400 at 11am. We have people consolidating order for masks and a few consolidating lunch from different takeaways. Basically I can see people rushing here and there. Funny!
View from office at 9.20am

Bad haze

This is taken at 9.22am with PSI recorded at 131. Seriously... how can it be! It rose to PSI 371 at 1pm! This only an average for 3hrs. Luckily we brought our lunch and we stayed in office for that 9hrs.

Well, coy is doing their part by distributing biomask to us! Great! These masks are like gold now!
Here are my stocks!

Leroy's Amazing Skill!

After knowing my boy's skill my boy's skill, I found another that proves he is really a talent in 'packing' 搬家全靠他了!

I remember telling him to throw it away as it is empty but I still see it in his bag. He was a bit nervous when I wanted to open this box.

No wonder.....

My Cute Hus.

Hus is on leave today but he has movie date with some of his colls. He can sleeps in but he still makes the effort to send the boys to centre and sends me to work. ♡ He did some housework too and prepared our pyjamas for tonight and the boys uniform for tmr! Appreciate. ^.^

June 13, 2013

Mild fever.

After bathing Leroy, I feel that his body temperature is a bit warm and his temp came up to 37degrees. Slight fever but still active as before. Luckily I still have paracetamol at home and hope his fever will go down soon.
As it's still early, I allow them to watch TV programs and it's showing Mr Bean and Gag. Both boys are laughing like crazy and suddenly there's this YMCA video commercial and 3 of us starting dancing! Lol!!
Little ways to entertain ourselves and me doing funny actions to make my baby boys laugh.
That's how we end our night!

Tiger Beer Brewery Tour

One of our company event for the Year 2013 !
Coach is provided to and forth!

The tour begins in a shiny new welcome room filled with retro advertisements, collectable bottles, and other memorabilia from the brewery’s 80-year history in Singapore. Here we met the tour guide who shared some interesting factoids about their products. After a video about the founding of the brewery by colonial British brew-masters striving to formulate the perfect tropical beer, the brewery tour proper begins.

We followed the tour guide into the secure area, up a staircase, and into a steamy room that smelled like bread – the brewing room! This is also where photography stops — the process is apparently a secret! Our group, a sizeable 40some people, paused briefly on the viewing platform to gaze down at the huge vats while the guide gave an introduction to beer’s basic ingredients like hops and barley. Whether it was due to the underwhelming response or the stifling heat, we quickly moved on to the next stop on the tour.

Finally it was time for the real reason any of us signed up for the brewery tour – drinking! The beer sampling takes place in Tiger Tavern, a British-themed pub so polished it should be open every day to everyone, not just tours. Free flow of beers that are brew on site! The taste is sooooo different from what you normally drink! I will definitely be back!
