Not that I'm bad or what but I feel it's kinda funny la.
Well, firstly it may be because the company he is working for has less than 10 headcount and mostly are living in their own world. Feels kinda sad for him too but luckily he don't feel so la.

Get busy!

Had bought most of the gifts at least a month ago but I just started to wrap tonight!!
Rushed home to prepare dinner bath the boy before starting my wrap-the-gift-mission at 10.30pm and it ends at 1.30am with half of the presents wrapped! That includes finding the presents, some handicraft and packing in bags. Gonna continue the wrapping tomorrow night after Christmas party at Leroy's school.

Comfort food on cold night.

Baby boy requested porridge with some side dish tonight and here it is. Very simple but yet comforting.

Cafe : Two Bakers

Sis suggest to explore this new little cafe at Jalan Besar which is the latest 'in' place with lots of new cafes. Look at the exterior.... Totally in Christmas mood especially it is raining on that day when we visit!
A very spacious area with a touch of vintage and industrial feel. Very cosy place to chill and best of all no food smells spilling out from their kitchen!

See my little 'mermaid boy'? Lol!

The decor is up ! So much

The Menu

The TwoBakers Champion Breakfast ($15)
Perhaps they could do with creamier eggs and more sautéed mushrooms.

French Toast with Sweet Caramelised Banana ($11.80)
I have sweet tooth and thus I couldn't resist to order this! But a tad disappointed as I feel it will do better with crispy edges.

Hot Chocolate for sis and Hot Mocha for myself.
Just a drink to keep self warm in this cold weather.

Brought the boy to watch 7.30pm Big Hero 6 at TBP as he has been requesting to watch.
Distinguishes itself not only in the animation but also the storytelling. Both sis and myself do thinks that it's a movie worth spending on. =)

Cafe : ButterScotch

Came across this cafe when I'm reading through the FB feeds and bookmarked this place!
Been meaning to visit this cafe for a while but did not get a chance till recently and I brought Leroy along. =)

We managed to get a table despite the small space. I guess people must have decided to just snuggle up at home on a rainy day.
I must say I really liked the design concept of the store. Although the cafe is really small, it gave a very cozy feel for the customers.

Menu wise not much of main dish to choose from

Brioche French Toast and Chicken Chop

Well, there's nothing much to rave about but portion is big so perhaps can get someone to share.
Just find the price is abit on the high side given the location and quality of food.

Cheeky as always.

Purposely comb center-parting for them and asked them to pose for a photo and here's their pattern!
Leroy is super funny with his hands posing like this!

Oh! Randomly, I told Leroy I wanted to buy an Ipad and I wanted to test if he will buy for me. I guess all mums will at least do the same once right? Lol! So I ask if he can buy for me. He ran away.... I was like *heart = 'piang piang piang'* Ask him to buy things for me and he ran away! Later he walk towards me and pour his assets he has at mum's place on my hand and ask me to go and buy. Awwwwwwwww.... Major
When I thought the son ran away in order to reject his greedy mum's request, he actually came back with his money! If he is able to read this post, he must be thinking why didn't he offer to give me all his money everyday so he can get a few dollars each day! Lol! #justsaying

Here's a photo of my dearest boy offering his assets! Lol!

Training in process.

Sis brought them along to jog at Queenstown Sports Complex.
My sis told me they did the passing 'baton'(replace with tree stick. LOL!) run and when the 'baton' is being passed to leroy, he did a 400m run without stopping, maintaining the same speed and not even panting when he complete the run! Amazing!!

Look at their 'baton' LOL!!

The boy had a haircut!

Leroy's hair is touching his brows and ears so I got the hus to bring him for a haircut as the hair length makes his head look big. Lol! So the boy came back with this hair and I like! Short and neat!

The Magic Sponge.

Remember the amazing sponge
I raved about last year? Put it in good use today!
The primary students have this whiteboard they always use in school and Lervin has 1 too.
Till now the mum only clean it twice this year. Lol!

See how dirty the board is......

The amazing sponge!

With few wipes and I didn't even wash the sponge in between, see how clean it is and dirty the sponge is!

Rinse the sponge and it's clean again!

Our dinner / Leroy packing his bag for school outing.

The boy is going for school outing to Garden by the Bay tomorrow and he is super excited!
He requested to pack his bag for this trip early. Well, it is good to have this good inititative to do things early rather than last minute.
So when we reach home today, I'm busy preparing our dinner and this boy gets busy again going through items which is already in his bag and stuff in more things inside. I'm very curious what he will bring but I've no time to check his bag. After dinner I will!

Our dinner tonight!
Didi can't wait to eat so when I'm preparing the last dish, he asked for my phone and quickly take a photo of this dish as he knows I always do that. Lol!
Blurry photo and he re-take!

A close-up. Lol!

Porridge with stripes of pumpkin added, salted egg prawn, egg tofu topped with marinated minced pork and fish (korkor eaten the fish skin!)
Simple dinner for my family. =)

I don't cook everyday thus my children sometimes still eat pack food and I feel super guilty.
My cooking skill is not as good as my mum but I try do check online for some easy recipe and cook for them and when the dish turns out good, I share with my mum! =)
Before I start my own family, I don't like cooking and finds it a hassle. The mess, the smell of oil and sweat, the cleaning up, I find it really troublesome. I always think that why such a trouble? Just 'dabao' food, eat and throw! Don't even have to wash the dishes. But when it comes to a point that after starting my own family and have children, no one in the house can cook and we are without a maid(most maid will be able to cook simple dishes), will you still have the same mindset as before? Some may think, 'aiyah just order tingkat lor. Slighty better than buying from stalls' But would you rather cook healthier food that you know what's being added in the food or eat what is being cook by others and not knowing if there is 'extra ingredient' added? Can't wait for mum to stay with us at our place!

Enough of my loh-sohness! Lol

Now, let's see what Leroy pack for his outing!

Me : Why he need 2 sunnies?
Leroy : So that I can change mah.
Me : Why you bring the fork?
Leroy : I need to use the fork when I eat there.
me : *laughing hysterically*

Lervin's favourite TV show.

This boy is so addicted to this show and he will remind us when the show is starting. Once the show starts, he basically glued to the TV. I know it's not really good for him to be addicted to TV show at this young age, but they do have their childhood isn't? Just like us watching cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Pink Panther, Popeye etc whe n we are young. But for Lervin, he likes those shows that has the magical effect just like his mum! Did I mention his mum is Harry Potter fan! Lol! Perhaps I should let them view the CDs that I had bought years ago!

The sweetest boy!

Whenever this lil man is with me, be it shopping or marketing he will reminds me of the tems that I need to buy(sometimes I get him to remind me as the mummy tends to be forgetful), arranging the items in the basket neatly(which I think is not necessary but the lil man insist) and always helping to carry the grocery bags. It just seems like he knows he should help and I guess partly due to he often sees his daddy helping thus he follows daddy's footstep? =)

Our Saturday.

On and off we had been buying things for our house even before the renovation starts and now we have to keep it at our place. So here we are at Punggol!

How I wish they are always this loving.....

The hus was cleaning up the dust on car and the boys volunteer to help!

Meetup with their god-pa after that as they stay just few streets away. =)
Another reason to love this area as I've lots of friends and relatives staying all around Punggol and Sengkang.

Bullying his god-pa. Lol!

My funny boy!

Came to the room after bathing and I wanted to keep the clean clothes in drawer. Leroy handed me a shorts and said this is mine. As hus and I have the same shorts, I ask him...
Me : How do you know this shorts belong to mummy? Daddy has the same shorts too.
Leroy : I know because I smell the shorts and it has your smell.
Me : *ROFL!!!!!*

Just to add on, he is referring to the outer layer that he smell. Lol!

Lantern Festival at Labrador Park

Hus pick me up from work and off we go to mum's place for dinner then to Labordor park with the boys and sis! Our 2nd time spending lantern festival there and as usual lots of people there!
Quickly we found a place and settle down and the boys riding their scooter happily.

Decide to go the traditional way and mum pass us lots of beautiful paper lanterns from RWS and I begin liting up the candles place in the middle of the lantern. That is so fun!!
Here's our lanterns ! =)

Bought Kong Ming Deng online and put it in use! 1 of it is heart shaped.
