My little helper!

I had to cook pasta at least once a week or whenever the boys request.
I'm not good at cooking so when the boys likes it, I always source o n net for better recipe and cook for them. =)
Today, I have a little helper! Whenever I need help, he will without hesitation volunteer!

I'm quite scared when he holds the knife.. So I stand beside him through the whole process.






Took cut the cutters and let him play with the shapes!



Although it takes longer time to finish cooking, we have fun!

Since today is just the 2 of us, decided to bring Lervin for brunch! Went over to Lola and the 18 waiting tables in front of us! New cafes are always crowded with people... Change venue and we went Kith cafe instead.

I chose Multigrain and Poached Eggs! Comes with grilled tomatoes, sausages and sauteed mushrooms too.

Experiment 2.

Many are still raving about the sponge and me and other colls are aiming at other cups to do another experiment! The feeling of cleaning off those stubborn stains is great!
And we found 1........

The moment we see his cup, we almost threw out our breakfast! Lol!! A bit exaggerating but it is damn disgusting!! We do this man a favour..

The amazing sponge!

Had long heard about the benefits of drinking green tea and most of my colls are health consious type and that definitely has some influence on me. Just nice my coll bought me a box of green tea in sachet pack and I replace drinking water to green tea for the past 2 weeks and also my cup turn from clean white to yellow stains! Scrubbing with dishwashing liquid doesn't remove the stains at all and I'm thinking of changing my cup! See how dirty it is!






One of my coll recommend me a type of sponge that can remove most of the stains in cups, table tops, utensils etc. Bought it and use it to wash my cup I love it! Totally like a brand new cup! Other colls saw me using and they try it. She can even remove the old stains that she had tried removing but unable to! No hassle of using toothpaste, lemon etc anymore!

Family dinner at City Square. Before that, there's mini baby fair at the atrium and the boys requested usto take photos of them. =)






Decided on Breeks for dinner.

Leroy : mummy, you must take out the dirty things. *we always do that when we break raw egg* 

 Me : *sipping tea* 
Leroy : mummy, tea is for young people and black coffee is for old people right?

Restaurant : Koh Grill and Sushi Bar

Decided to visit Koh Grill and Sushi Bar after seeing friends posting photos. Be it on facebook, instagram or any forms of social media platform, people have been raving about this restuarant. So I know I must get down to try it! And so.... Here we are!
Small space but waiting time is short. We got a seat in less than 15mins.
The menu is simple and covers all the usual Jap food suspects like sushi, sashimi, udon, makis and more.

Tokyo Ramen @ S$8.00.
Ramen topped with char siew, spinach, fishcake, dried seaweed, bamboo shoot, and served with home-made soy-based broth. I love their broth, although it was salty to a certain level.


Grilled Foie Gras @ S$8.00/stick.
Hus never miss a chance to order when he's able to. Gosh! This is so good!


Sashimi Jyo @ S$35.00.
Hus was never sashimi fan until one fine day..... while dining at sushi restaurant, he tried after umpteen times of me encouraging him and.... he's hooked! Ever since then, he only eats salmon sashimi, no others. Decided to let him explore more... =)
After this experience, confirm he is only fan of salmon sashimi. Lol!


Shiok!!! Maki @ ($16.80).
Despite the extensive menu, little focus is taken away from their star attraction, the legendary Shiok Maki – a sushi roll consisting of lightly roasted salmon, avocado, mayo, charcoal-grilled unagi that is drizzled with cheesy mayonnaise and finally topped with a generous serving of tobiko. The 2nd Gen Shiok Maki, which holds the promise of deep-fried prawns and MANGO sauce. You will see with either Shiok Makis spotted on every other table (and their Instagram location tag).


Although this isn't the best Japanese restuarant but it's worth a try. Adding on, they should seriously improve their service attitude.

Caught red-handed.

I had place my ear piece by my bedside and when I came home, both silicon piece is missing!!!


I ask didi and he said he don't know and Lervin told me didi took it off and put on the floor.
After didi knows that there's witness seeing he take, he quickly change his statement and said he keep inside the playbox. -.- Manage to find 1 piece only and luckily there's replacement pair that comes in the box when I purhase the phone. Hus is laughing away when I told him....

Cookies vs Candies

Lervin told me something this evening...
He said when they receive goodie bag, Leroy always bring back the sweets and leave the cookies and biscuit in the centre! Leroy is indeed clever.... He knows that I don't allow them to eat cookies and biscuits. They have heaty body so when they are too heaty, they fall sick easily. But of course once a while a pcs of 2 is ok...
After Lervin told me about Leroy's secret, Leroy quickly continue, "I want to bring to mah mah's house and give mah mah eat." 现在的孩子很精.

Simple homecook tonight!

Always feel guilty when my kids have takeaway for dinner. It's like me as a mum is not doing my part. Never easy being a ftwm and doing cooking and house chores after work. so whenever I cook, although its tiring after a day's work, I'm happy. At least my boys are having healthier food. =)
