Bingo!

We are so into online bingo recently! 'Thanks' to younger sis for introducing us to this super addictive online game! Lucky for this particular bingo app only itunes and we downloaded on iphone and ipad only which we always leave it at home as there's no data plan. I can't imagine the consequences if andriod has this app too! Lol! Happens to see that this game is able to use the timezone arcade points to redeem! Redeemed!

What Your Zodiac Sign Says About Your Drinking Habits.

While I believe this is all a load of bullsh*t, it is always fun to explore what different signs say about an individual. What’s even more entertaining is to see how members of different signs interact with one another in various situations. Which signs get along with others and which do not?

Aries: Known for having an outgoing and friendly demeanor, an intoxicated Aries will bounce from person to person, checking in and making sure everyone else is enjoying themselves as much as the Aries is. If not, you can count on this person to buy you enough shots until you are on his or her level. If you are ever in a bad mood, this is definitely the person you want to hit up for happy hour.

Taurus: Said to be one of the more loyal astrological signs, this person will be by your side no matter what. Need a good wingman for the night? This is whom you should be calling. Be careful though because once a Taurus is blacked out, the stubbornness will be sure to emerge. If they don’t like your game plan for the night, rest assured they will not succumb to this peer pressure, especially when alcohol is involved. This is also perhaps the worst person to get into a drunken altercation with, as they are temperamental by nature.

Gemini: This symbol represents twins and is known for its multiple personalities. You know how difficult it is to go out and drink with someone whose demeanor can change at the drop of a hat? Geminis cannot tolerate indecisive people, so you better know exactly what you are doing that night and who you are seeing. Be careful when you go out with Geminis, as they cannot stand to remain in one place for too long. You know that one friend who disappears the second they black out? Chances are he or she is a Gemini.

Cancer: This is the emotional waste case, the person who starts crying in a heap on the floor when something does not go his or her way. Cancers display an array of emotions in any given situation, which is why drinking with them is not always ideal. One moment they are having the time of their lives and the next they are screaming at the bartender.

Leo: Get the liquor flowing and a Leo’s mouth will not stop moving. Leos don’t hold back their opinions, regardless if they are offensive. Everyone knows how chatty people start to get after they’ve thrown multiple shots back. Be careful when trying to put Leos in their place, as their natural role is similar to a lion: a leader.

Virgo: You can find these perfectionists sipping wine at the end of the bar, solo, after a rough day at the office. These are not your ideal drinking partners, as they tend to keep more to themselves as opposed to a crowd of people. Dive bars? Yeah right. Virgos are neat freaks and hate less than exceptional establishments. If you are looking for a classy night out on the town, then look no further than your Virgo friend.

Libra: A Libra is perhaps one of the best people to go out and get hammered with. They are the happy-go-lucky types who always want everyone to have fun. They are level-headed, which is a great quality to have when getting sh*tfaced. When your two friends get in a fight, you can always count on a Libra to mediate the situation.

Scorpio: Give a Scorpio a flight of tequila and watch his or her opinions unfold. Scorpios do not hold anything back, which can be both a good and a bad thing. However, they are the people who will drink with you throughout any given situation. The best part is they tend to hide their emotions, so you never have to worry about your Scorpio friend getting sh*tfaced and crying in the middle of the bar.

White Curry Noodle

The recently rave....
Coll gave me a pack to try and I cook it for my lunch today.

Method of cooking is abit different.
Cook the noodle in boiling water for 3 mins. For the usual instant noodle, I usually put the seasoning in water, wait for it to boil and then add in the noodle and it's ready within 5mins.
For this instant noodle, I was hesitating to follow their instruction or mine. In the end, I chose my method and regretted. Lol! The noodle indeed take some time to cook and the gravy left a little. =(

Heard it's OOS at most places. Will try it again when I manage to get it.
Don't really like the taste... Too salty.

Simple Happiness

I have been trying to go on diet (less carbo intake) to lose weight but in vain. Actually lost a little like 0.5kg but fats % still slightly more than normal. Not my ideal weight. Although there isn't much effect, I still continue my less carbo diet. And today after dinner, took out my digital weighing scale and the digits on the scale had my eyes wide open. From the last weigh (dec'13) till now I lost 2kg and fats reduce by 5%! Am freaking happy and told hus! Lol! After few mins, I suddenly remember that there's once the analog scale at mum's place went conked and I thought I lost weight. 白开心一场. Told hus it might be another time like previous and laugh at myself. The hus tell me,"就是喜欢看你这样笑。很可爱." Not used to it but still love it! Lol!!!

Mr Honesty

Everyday I will ask lervin how is his day is school, what he had for recess, did he finish his food etc etc. That's very normal isn't? Just last week, I noticed that 50cents is missing from his coin pouch and so I ask him what did he buy. He hesitate for a moment and I already know he bought smth that he shouldn't. Still he admit to buying a packet of peach tea to drink. He knows that I usually don't allow them to drink. You will never know if he will start coughing anot. If he does, this can goes on for a week plus. But well, since he is being honest to me (with my persistent questioning), I told him he can't buy this drink everyday and I would prefer him drinking water from his bottle. He said ok and I really hope he listen!

The amazing sponge!

Had long heard about the benefits of drinking green tea and most of my colls are health consious type and that definitely has some influence on me. Just nice my coll bought me a box of green tea in sachet pack and I replace drinking water to green tea for the past 2 weeks and also my cup turn from clean white to yellow stains! Scrubbing with dishwashing liquid doesn't remove the stains at all and I'm thinking of changing my cup! See how dirty it is!

One of my coll recommend me a type of sponge that can remove most of the stains in cups, table tops, utensils etc. Bought it and use it to wash my cup I love it! Totally like a brand new cup! Other colls saw me using and they try it. She can even remove the old stains that she had tried removing but unable to! No hassle of using toothpaste, lemon etc anymore!

A remedy !

Lervin had been coughing badly for the past few nights. Even taken medicine doesn't stop the night cough. Just so conincidence, I come across an article that can help to stop nighttime coughing in a child.

Treatment:
To stop night time coughing in a child (or an adult, as we found out personally), put Vicks Vapor Rub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime and then cover with socks.

" Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about five minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. This works 100 percent of the time, and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and they will sleep soundly."
If you are still not convinced or rather want to know more, read the following (there are good and bad reviews):

SNOPES.com
Mothersclick.com
Drugstore.com
Do you believe? Well, I do! No harm trying since the method used is absolutely harmless to the body.

Temporary shelter

Thick layer of dust, stained, smelly and crampy temporary toilet, no heater, inconvenience of wrapping and unwrapping our stuffs with plastic after using..... and I finally I decided to temporary move to mil's place for this week as mil had went for holiday.
Pack our barangs and I went to my usual salon to trim my hair before going over. Had been feeling very tired even before our PD trip and now we are back I'm feeling even more tired! House is in total mess....
Hope all the upgrading will be completed soon!!

Old School snack

Do you remember this?

Phewtick

The colls told me about this apps 'Phewtick' during lunch and I downloaded it!

"Phewtick is an app that allows its users to meet new people, and you can even earn money while doing so.The entire process of meeting new people and earning points to exchange for money relies on the use of QR codes. After you have met someone face-to-face, just launch Phewtick, scan his/her QR Code to record the meetup, and you’ll get points which can be exchanged for cash. For every hundred points recorded, it can be converted to 10 yen (0.12 USD), which can then be collected via Paypal or bank accounts. You are only allowed to scan the same person’s code one hour after the last scan. And the amount of points you receive changes each time you scan. In other words, points allocation is random which makes the app really addictive (almost like a lottery)." Quoted from Yahoo Finance.

It's quite fun-at least for now.

A little action makes a difference!

While walking home, Leroy saw this snail in the middle of the pathway and I request a tissue from Lervin. Slowly picking the snail up and place it on the grass.
Bombarded with qns from the 2 boys. Told them that people might step on it as the snail is too small. So I just help and put it on the grass.
I know they learned something from this little ation of mine. =)

Exorbitant price!

Few weeks ago, I bought 4oz Calendula cream from an organizer.
I always think that buying directly from website can save that few dollars when buying in sg.

Out of curiousity, I went Watson and check out the price and I was shocked !!
It cost $56.60 for this 4oz cream and I only bought it for $28.50!
