40th Week checkup

40th Week

Will be going for my checkup later, more then 20 girls from May thread had delivered in April. And I'm still here waiting...

all the best to the 6 girls who will be delivering today.!!

Upon arrival at ACJ clinic, I'll be strap to ctg machine. If there's regular contraction and I'm dilated, will be ask to admit to hosp. If still not dilated, most likely will go thru c-sec again.

Will update again after I'm back from checkup.!

#2 weighing 3149g. Gained 149g.

Today am going to checkup by myself. Hubby is very busy at work today.. And Lervin is at my mum's place.. Oh ya.. nurses there are asking for Lervin. lol.!
Took a cab from my place to TMC and was quite pissed off by this comfort driver. He was alighting passengers opposite me and there's another cab coming. Naturally of course I'll flag the cab behind the comfort thinking it might not be hired... Too bad, there's passengers.. The comfort cab that was alighting passengers make a turn and pick me.. The moment I board the cab, the uncle asked me (like questioning thou)," Why you don't flag my cab and flag down the one behind me?" It was kinda rude to ask this question knowing that he's not available for hire during tt time. And I have my right to choose which cab I wana take.!! I told him this and he kept quiet a while. Later on, he said he also wont anyhow pick up passengers due to swine flu. OK.! Wadever....

Reached TMC, temperature need to be taken. Surprisely, there's only a handful of patients in the clinic. Again, within 5 mins of reaching, i was called in the room. JWong really hopes to see that I'm dilated.. If not, will need to choose a date for c-sec.. SHe makes me more gan chiong...!
Lie on the bed for scanning, bb's head is going lower then last time..! able to see his little fist! so cute !! Just in case bb is overdue, gynae measure AFI. still gd level at 7.3cm.
Followed by VE. Am 0.5cm.! Good news.! Climbing of stairs, carrying Lervin and walking more helps.! heheee.. Gynae did membrance sweeping to further loosen it. Very Uncomfortable but if it really helps dilation, why not.! Have slight blood discharge and gynae predict I'll go into Labour over the weekend. So happy.!
Did CTG for half hour, JWong said I'm having regular mild contractions.


Reach my mum's place and notice that the blood discharge had increased and in muscus form like!

See how Lervin throw tantrums... Although sometimes I do get angry with him, but I'll normally smile and laugh when I see how he show me he is unhappy.

39 weeks checkup.

39th Weeks

mummy weigh 58.7kg. lost 1.1kg.
#2 weigh 3kg. gain 100g.

Had been looking forward to this checkup as i'm very very near to edd.! hoping to hear gd news like,'Agnes, you're 1cm dilated.! it's very near.!' from JWong. bt it doesnt seems the case...

1st time the nurse called me into room within 5 mins when i reached. weight and blood pressure are not even taken. happily entered the room and as usual, lervin ran straight to the sofa and start hugging those bears. not forgeting saying and waving to JWong. never fails to take few stickers from the desk. lol.
after few chattings, hopped onto the bed and did scanning. lil one is still as active as before. weight is gd for natural birth, water lvl gd but head is almost the same as last week.! did my 3rd VE, not dilated as well. im speechless at that moment. hv been dilligently walking, shopping till my feet aches but still not dilated. JWong is giving me another 2 weeks to try.. if really no sign, will need to arrange c-sec. my chin nearly drop on the table!! wanting to go natural and finally waited till his head is engagedl and now tell me will need c-sec if he doesnt wana come out.! i'll try whatever i can now to let him come naturally. even korkor keep flipping up my top asking didi to come out... hope didi can hear us!
will be gng for my nxt checkup next wk. will be doing ctg as well. really hope there will be gd news.!

after 2 wks of waiting, finally my beco arrives.! postman delivers another item i bought online as well. would like to say the beco is very nicely packed. comes with receipt, cd for instruction, leaflet and free legwarmers.! professionally done! the Allison design looks very nice too. should hv bought this earlier.. tried it on lervin and he simply loves it so did my mum.!

another item is the pp pants. bought 2pcs. one for korkor and the other for didi. cute.! bt it's kinda tight. looks like leggings on lervin. lol.

My mum, the first to try out on 11kg+ lervin.
Looks comfortable for both of them. Good buy.!

False alarm ?

Finally... It's time to rest and wait for the Big day.!
Wake up quite early today. Maybe I'm still use to working lifestyle.. Few more days I'm sure I'll slp till noon.! whahaha...
Went to toilet and realise there's strands of blood. After few wiping, it's gone. Went back to room and rest. After a while, my tummy cramps follow by backaches. Had quite a few false alarms, so I shake it off as another 'prank' of his. =D

Taking this chance to updated blog as well and to explore Samsung Omnia. Quite a complicated phone I say... =)
But at least I can go SMH forum and sign on msn in room.!

At 38th Weeks

38th Week

Mummy weighing 59.80kg. Gained 2.3kg.
#2 weighing 2916g. Gained 229g.

What a whooping 2.3kg I've gained in just 2 weeks.! I made the nurse re-weigh me, rub my eyes, yes.! 2.3kg gained.! Never in my life I'll gained 2.3kg in 2 weeks. Even with Lervin. Lol.! Nurse said maybe it's the last growth spurt. Well, maybe it is. Every pregnancy is different..

While waiting, I asked Lervin want to take photos? He walked and leaned against the counter and I snapped.!

After 1hr wait, finally it's our turn... The moment we stepped into the room, Lervin will walked all the way to the sofa, grab a bear and hug it. He never fails to do it during each of my visits. thus always bring a smile to our faces including Dr Wong. =)

My 2.3kg caught Dr Wong's attention. 'Well, you've gained a little more then average. tt's gd.!' Good? It's scaring me.! I'm still trying to go natural...

Hopped onto the bed and did the scan... Leroy's head is heading further down. Still as active as before. Kicking and squirming around thru'out the scan. =D Heartbeat gng at 140, water still alot. Lastly did a VE again. Not dilated at all. Guess I'll have to continue the waiting game till he's ready to meet us. =)

Babies at week 39 weigh about 6.8 to 7 pounds/ 3 to 3.2 kilograms and continue to build the fat stores that will help regulate body temperature after birth. Your little one's organ systems are fully developed and in place, but the lungs will be last to reach maturity. (Even after your baby is born, it may take a few hours before she establishes a normal breathing pattern.)

Dec issue of Young Parents

Received a letter from SPH holdings. Levin's photo is featured in Dec 08 issue.! Am excited as I've send in few times but not choosen... 1st time Lervin appeared in mag.! hahaa.. After a while I looked clearly at which month he was in. DEC 08. I was like Huh?? Dec Issue now than I receive their letter. Where on earth am I going to find Magazines that is backdated 4 months.?? Immediately I msg my friends to try my luck and even post in SMH wanted to purchase a copy. Lol.! The next day, Hub asked me, "Did you try calling SPH and request? They might have few copies left." Stupid me, didn't even think of this. Next day I called the them and they said they have.! I was so happy that I rushed down the next day to get it and also to redemn the gifts.!

Lervin's 20th month

Been so so tired recently thus haven been taking photos of Lervin...

Even Lervin's 20th Month Updates.!
Let me roughly recall the improvements he had made...
- Each time my mum says, 1,2.... and he will go 3,4..... But I dont think he really know the numbers sequence yet...
- Imitate each of us talking/actions espically the last word and for actions, he loves to make funny steps and it really amuse us. =)
- Finally able to 'smile' when being ask to take photos instead of the 'all features squeeze together' face. Of course the smile isn't natural. hahaa.
- When it's time to bath he knows exactly where to throw his diaper and clothes. He know this quite a few months back.. But this time with some extra improvement..
The bucket for his dirtied clothes is below the table. So he will actually bend lower, avoiding bumping onto the table. =)
Tt's all I can rememeber for now...

Oh ya, hub bought me Samsung Omnia.! I've always wanted this phone. But the price is kinda steep. And I rather use the money to buy stuffs for my
children. So i keep dragging and always hesitate. After hub's repeated 'nagging', he 'dragged' me to M1 shop to get it.

36th Weeks

36th Weeks

Mummy weighing 57.50kg. Gained 0.9kg.
#2 weighing 2687g. Gained 287g.

He's engaged.! Horray.!! Finally I can try for natural.! =) My friend's thinks that I'm kinda crazy.. Being so excited over going Natural. The unbearable and long hours of labour pain freaks them out. But to me, it is sooo EXCITING.! Being able to experience the Real thing is definitely not easy. But at least once for me to experience the Real pain.! My threshold for pain is quite high and so i hope to go Drug-free. hehee...

I'm feeling very heavy now. Swelling of feet and hands comes and goes. But still not so bad as it's not obvious and I'm still able to put on my normal sandals... It's only the crampy feeling there when I try to get up from bed. And sometimes the Out-of-breath feeling... The tightening of tummy becomes more and more freq and stronger... Do feel more tired recently despite the 9-10 hrs of sleep... Last but not least the punches and kick is definitely stronger and harder. Never fails to make my stomach out of shape.. =) I find that is kinda cute thou. hahaa...

The thick-skinned me went to the nusery and request for glass bottles and I was given 10 of it.! hahaaa. Intending to use it as storage bottles and feeding bottle for the first 1-2 months.

Went for BW today as well.! I'm prepared to deliver anytime.
