May mummies and babies Gathering.

This is my 2nd gathering with them.! First time is when we were few months pregnant. And now, we have all popped.! More mummies turned up for this time's gathering. Lotsa babies as well.
This is suppose to be for May babies. But I brought Lervin along instead of Leroy. Lol.!

Lervin's 1st toothbrush

We had been regularly brushing Lervin's teeth since he started on solid food. But all along he is using the finger brush. Only yesterday I bought him his very own toothbrush.! He chose the Duffy Duck brush. But that is for 3 yrs and above but still he insist on taking that brush... He even put the brush in the trolley... I secretly took out the brush when he didn't notice. =D

Movie : Transformer

Lervin watched his 1st movie, Transformer with us today.! Also my 1st time watching movie at AMK hub. =D
At first I'm quite reluctant to bring Lervin along.... But still, we decided to give it a try. At most if he don't like, we can just leave the theatre.
Just beside the theatre, there's a arcade. From my previous post, Hub caught a Mickey Mouse for him before. So whenever he sees the machine, he will pull us there and say, 'dong' 'catch' = means put the coins in and catch everytime without fail. It's a bad or good thing? Lol

Finally we're seated and Lervin sits on my lap. At that moment, I keep thinking what will happen during this 150mins show..
Things are still going smoothly and he is quietly munching his kachang puteh and watching the show. I can't focus on the show as Lervin keep asking for chips, water peanuts.. To avoid him throwing temper, I have to give in to his request... Only this way we can quietly watch our show. There's a part when the mini robot doctor is examining Sam by pulling his eyelid, mouth, he even paused munching and watch the movie without moving. Hah.
Half hour later, he starts fidgeting like trying to find a comfortable position. I was so into the movie that I didn't even notice that Lervin had doze off.! And he sleep all the way till the movie ends.

Will try bringing him to movies that he like. We shall see if he will doze off. =)

Leroy is sick....

From my previous post, Leroy had caught the virus from Lervin... Had brought Leroy to PD on thurs. He mentioned it's a flu virus and suggest using suction to remove some of it to make him feel better. oh my god.. Both me and my mum, we looked at each other... My poor boy will sure to cry on top of his lungs when it is inserted. But still, to make him feels better, we agreed.. PD insert a tube in his nose and throat and Leroy started to cry and kicks.! My heart aches to see him cry and suffer.. He's only a month +... =(
Till now, it's already the 5th day.. And he is still coughing quite badly. We decided to bring him to KK children in the afternoon...

Other then coughing which makes him crys.. Most of the time he is smiling at us. =) It really warms my heart to see his smile.. Leroy likes people to play and talk to him and he will do the same with his 'googoo' 'gaagaa'. It's really cute.

Kor kor keep insist on carrying didi and give him a kiss.! I must say Lervin is getting more like kor kor. He will sayang didi's head every now and then. And he really likes to kiss leroy. Maybe he likes the baby smell too? =) When we're changing leroy's diaper, he will go to the drawer and pull out 1 new diaper and give us. As for the soiled diaper, he will throw into the bin. He knows exactly what to do and I always praise him for that.

I know it's kinda early but kor kor wanted this to be on didi's head. Leroy loves it.! hah. Lervin will share whatever he has with didi... Even his new toys.!

I've finally collected the nursing shawl from Audrey. It's so trouble without it when I'm out with Leroy. Always rushing to look for Nursing room. Finally.. Thanks Audrey.!

After collecting, we went J8 for dinner. When we walked past the arcade, Lervin pulled Papa in. There's rows of 'drop' machine which you put in tokens, using the joystick to grab a toy and bingo! Lervin saw Mickey Mouse plush toy and keep pointing to it excitedly. Seeing him so happy and excited, we changed tokens and decide to try our luck. We caught the toy in the first 2 attempts.! But when the stick jerk, the toy drop. Fianlly the 3rd time, we caught it.! And Lervin hugged it all the way till we reached home. My bro-in-law try to disturb lervin by hitting it gently and Lervin pushed his hand away. hahaa..

Cough & Flu virus

Lervin is still coughing.. It has been a week since we brought him to doctor. he is slightly better but still sounds like there is lotsa pleghm in his throat. Even the mucus is very sticky. Before kor kor recover, he pass the virus to didi. Poor leroy, he is coughing quite badly and sometimes even throw up the milk that he just drank. He looks very uncomfortable... Heart pain to hear him coughing so hard..





Hope they will recover soon. =(

Daddy the chef.!

During my confinement, I told hubby that I miss his spaghetti. Yesterday, hubby bring me and lervin to shop for ingredients as he decides to cook for me today.! Finally.! settled my cravings. Lol.! Strange enough, I have more cravings after delivery and not during pregancy.

Mummy checkup. Leroy's 2nd Hep B

Mummy & Leroy went for our checkup today. lervin visited doctor as well as he is coughing quite badly. seems to have alot of plehgm when he coughs. poor boy. Did not sleep well last night and is very cranky.

When I'm waiting for my turn to see JWong, those times when i went for my checkups keep flashing thru' my mind. I'm kinda like missing the place and when leroy is in my tummy. The times when I'm waiting patiently at the long queuing time, the scans and not forgetting those little chats with JWong. But... I hope I wont be seeing her these 2-3yrs. hahaa..
Mummy weighing 49kg. Lost all the preggy weight bt still abit fleshy above the wound area. gynae mention csec is like that. one month more i can start to exercise and try to lose that fleshy part. must ganbate!

Leroy weighing 5.6kg at 1mth 1wk. Around 97percentile. Height and Head Circumfrance at 90 percentile. He must had absorbed the nutrients from the breast milk really well. The full of fats milk. Lol! ice-cream, chocolate, soft drinks... =)

Full month and end of confinement.!

Leroy is a month old!
Actually I'm thinking how they count if there's 5 weeks a month. To go by date or by weeks. if going by day, he is exactly a month today. If go by week, he should be 1month & 1week old. anyway, i go by date to be easier.
Today marks the end of my confinement too.! hurray! Actually I've broke most of the confinement rules already. Just wanted to help my mum out as I can see she's really very busy and i feel really bad. I have my reason for not getting a CL. So my mum keeps nagging at me for not following the rules and i just keep quiet. Let those aches come when im old. Sigh~ I cant bear to see my mum slogging and busy with my children stuffs and me relaxing on bed...

Finally, confinement is over. It's not the end of it, but a beginning, a new start with an new addition. we have to start all over again. But this time with lervin around, we'll be busier. =)
Really not easy to look after 2 of them. I wonder how my mum did with 4 children each with a gap of 1 yr except me and my bro who are 2 yrs apart. Anyway, mums are great.!!

He is latching on as well as bottle feeding. am lucky that he has no nipple confusion and is taking both feeding methods very well. =)
- Feeding interval of 2-3hrs of 150ml.
- Able to hold his head upright for few secs.
- Gazing at you when you talks to him.
- Smiling when he is being tickle at chin and cheek.
- Making sounds like gurgle, coo, grunt, and hum
- Drinking 150ml of milk
- Eyes following moving objects.
