Day 5 - Bangkok

Our last day in BKK… =(
Woke up early for our last shop ! We decided to packed all our stuffs and checkout before heading out in case we miss the checkout time.
While packing, I realised that we really bought a lot things! For me, normally I’ll rolled the clothes so it won’t take up unnecessary space. =)

We had brought 2 luggage over. 1 empty luggage and the other with few pcs of clothes and our daily necessities. All are full !
We stayed at Platinum Mall the whole morning and bought more clothes!! Didn’t have the time to take photo…. =(
Had our lunch at A&W and head back to hotel.

When check in, our luggages weighs 35kg. I remembered when we check in at changi airport, it only weigh 15kg. 20kg back !!!
Walk around the airport before the plane depart in another 2hrs.

Bought the mango sticky rice from duty free shop and it's very nice!

This is a much fruitful trip compared to the last 2 trips. And we definitely enjoyed ourselves there! Now I miss Platinum Mall and tom yam soup much !!! Hope the next time I go, it will be longer !

Day 4 - Bangkok

Woke up rather early today.
Left hotel and we walk to erawan shrine quite a distance walk but still walkable!

Left shrine and took a 5 mins walk to central mall! The mall is like our Paragon. Nice, clean place with lots of branded shops. Went to comestic dept to get Ettusais BB cream at slightly cheaper price! This BB cream is really good! No mineral oil ingredient and it won't feel sticky after applying on face. Love it! The staff even offered to do a makeover for me and my hus got a free eyebrown shaping session!

After we walk around want to get out lunch and finally we settle with Fuji resturant. I will definitely return to this place if I go bkk again! The restuarant ambience is good, food is cheap, yum yum with big servings!

This is mine!! Guess what? This set cost $15/- !! With fruits and tea after meal!


Salmon sashimi cost $10/-. Very fresh and melt in da mouth !they sliced it slightly thicker.

After lunch, we went naraya and got some stuffs. A lot of customers and the place is much bigger than MBK! I can see there's quite a few singaporeans there from the way they speak. The Singlish ~ haha!

We parted with mil and bil as they are leaving today. A day earlier than us. We walked to Chitlom BTS and took a train which cost 20bht ($0.80) each to MBK for few hours shopping. Hus got us a cup of Mocha blend at Coffee World at 110bht ($4.60) as we're gonna have a long day today! More walking and shopping!

Bought some clothes for the boys.
Went back to Plaitnum Mall to comb the areas we had missed out and hus bought quite a lot of clothes for the boys and I have to stop him. It's rather funny when I told my friends and they said my hus is behaving like what a wife should be(shopaholic) and I'm the opposite which is the hus(the restrictor). Quite true that some of our characters are totally swopped! =)
Ok. It's around 7pm and shops are starting to close. We went to basement and bought a crepe at 35bht. Really nice!

Oh ya, we had booked appointment for our complimentary half hour foot massage at
8.30pm. So we bought 2 set meals from MacDonald back to hotel to eat
before the massage. The set cost us 169bht which is around $7.

Day 3 - Bangkok

Woke up very late today !!! We left hotel at 1pm+ !

Quickly we walked to Platinum Mall to change the size of the clothes we bought yesterday. So I went to get more spag top and tshirt! Cotton material!! Super comfy! 3pcs spag for 80bht($3) each and tshirt for 130baht!($5) cheap anot !!!

All for 359bht ($14) !! The last time I had Rootbeer float is 2yrs+ ago at batam ! Finally get to taste that again!!

After lunch, we took a Train to Mo Chit to the famous chatuchuk !! Weather was sorching hot !! Adding to it is the humid and non-ventilated shops! We are pespiring like mad!

This shop is really selling cheap with good material dresses!! 100bht per pcs! Which is $4 !! The owner is very sweet and nice!

These brothers.... Like doing fashion show. They just changed into what they bought..

Yes !! CTC sells cute puppies as well !!!

Night life of CTC ! Very lively with youngsters the most!

On our way to Nam Sing seafood! Heard about this from forum and many are raving about this place! Must to visit and definitely worth the trip!

While waiting for our seat, they took our orders first...

Well.. This is the only dish in our cam! We must be very very famished!

After, we cross the road and have our dessert there.! 100 bht per bowl!

Loots of the day.. Much more lesser than previous 2 days... Everytime I go CTC, I didn't get to buy much. Maybe that place really doesn't suits me.. haha!
