Day trip to JB.

Trip to JB with just me and hus. Been 5 months since I last went in and I miss the loklok! We left the hse at 12.30pm and reach JB around 2pm. Pretty bad jam but still car movable. Straight to KSL and there's bad jam there too! Been there so many times and today has the most crowd but luckily still manage to find a carpark lot. We are suppose to have our lunch first but we saw there's popular bookfair and went in to take a look. It's a mega bookfair!! The size of the fair is about 4-5 times the size of taka fair! Lots and lots of books and stationeries at very cheap price! Although we spent like almost 2hrs there, we still didnt manage to comb every corner but we bought quite a few stuff from there. Very reluctant to leave this fair as there's a few areas that I haven't walk over. But hus is hungry so no choice....

Oh ya. We applied for popular member card there too at a cost of rm25 for 3yrs and we can use it at sg too. This is a a temporary card and the actual one will be mailed to us. =)

Came at a right time as there's sales at SaSa! Grab as few products from there too. =)

Carrying bags of books, we decide to have our late lunch at Arashi! Food ordered and while waiting, was discussing about the design of this restaurant. Cosy feel and perhaps can use some of the ideas for our new home!

Foooood!! All these for RM130! Left KSL and drive to our usual carwash shop to give our little red car a good wash! Perfect day until this very last part of the day. We went over to sawadee thai massage to have a good 2hrs thai massage at RM99 for each of us. Not my first time there but this will definitely be my last time there. Massage starts at 7.45pm and will ends at 9.45pm. The start off is already a turnoff.

Massage and Lok Lok trip

Our usual routine. Think I'm getting sick of the places we usually go. But we are not very familiar with the other places . Any good place to recommend for food? Western, Japanese?
Anyway we went Hachiko for lunch! Love this place!! Food is cheap and very nice!

We did massage this time. My coll recommend a place near Taman Sentosa but we can't find the shop and we end up at 'Sawadee Thai Spa'. You can park your car right outside the brightly lighted shop with security looking after the cars. We tip him after we left. It's not compulsory thou.
Most of the massage therapists are Thais. Clean and relaxing place and the price is pretty affordable. Hus, myself and bil took 1.5hrs traditional Thai massage for RM73 & mil took 1.5hrs foot and shoulder massage for RM69. Ours are pretty good but not for mil.

First time ordered sooo much! Bil love loklok and once he's here, he ordered the most.

Day 4 - Bangkok

Woke up rather early today.
Left hotel and we walk to erawan shrine quite a distance walk but still walkable!

Left shrine and took a 5 mins walk to central mall! The mall is like our Paragon. Nice, clean place with lots of branded shops. Went to comestic dept to get Ettusais BB cream at slightly cheaper price! This BB cream is really good! No mineral oil ingredient and it won't feel sticky after applying on face. Love it! The staff even offered to do a makeover for me and my hus got a free eyebrown shaping session!

After we walk around want to get out lunch and finally we settle with Fuji resturant. I will definitely return to this place if I go bkk again! The restuarant ambience is good, food is cheap, yum yum with big servings!

Brother-in-law's beef steak. The meat is so tender and cook at the right temperature!

This is mine!! Guess what? This set cost $15/- !! With fruits and tea after meal!


Salmon sashimi cost $10/-. Very fresh and melt in da mouth !they sliced it slightly thicker.

After lunch, we went naraya and got some stuffs. A lot of customers and the place is much bigger than MBK! I can see there's quite a few singaporeans there from the way they speak. The Singlish ~ haha!

Look like our branded shops in Paragon!

We parted with mil and bil as they are leaving today. A day earlier than us. We walked to Chitlom BTS and took a train which cost 20bht ($0.80) each to MBK for few hours shopping. Hus got us a cup of Mocha blend at Coffee World at 110bht ($4.60) as we're gonna have a long day today! More walking and shopping!

Bought some clothes for the boys.
Went back to Plaitnum Mall to comb the areas we had missed out and hus bought quite a lot of clothes for the boys and I have to stop him. It's rather funny when I told my friends and they said my hus is behaving like what a wife should be(shopaholic) and I'm the opposite which is the hus(the restrictor). Quite true that some of our characters are totally swopped! =)
Ok. It's around 7pm and shops are starting to close. We went to basement and bought a crepe at 35bht. Really nice!

Oh ya, we had booked appointment for our complimentary half hour foot massage at
8.30pm. So we bought 2 set meals from MacDonald back to hotel to eat
before the massage. The set cost us 169bht which is around $7.
