The story of fall-off Lateral Incisor.

I have been helping him to loosen the tooth by shaking it hoping it will fall off by it's own rather than him to go dentist since the new tooth has not erupt yet. But it has been a week and it hasn't fall off and it's super shaky!

When I fetch Lervin this evening, I realised that there's a 'kosong' there then I knew the tooth fall off. Like finally!
So I asked him where's the tooth and he said the tooth is with daddy so I thought it drop off this morning when hus sent him to school. He added,"my friend lor. He knocked into me when I'm drinking water that's why my tooth drop." His mum is confused.

How can his friend bump into him and cause his tooth to drop when his tooth drop at home?

He further explained that in his dream he was drinking from a bottle and he friend accidentally knock onto him and that cause his tooth to drop off. In his dream???? 

The hus told me that at 5am+ lervin woke him up showing him his fall off tooth and lervin tell hus that his friend bump into him and cause his tooth to fall off. Lol!!!!!

Upper Incisor

No dentist, no mummy plucking. Thanks to daddy! Hus's sling bag accidentally knocked on lervin's lip and the shaky tooth just fall off like this! Lervin's is so funny. He quickly pick up the tooth and come running to me saying daddy makes my tooth fall off and show me his mouth and it is still bleeding. Brought him to washroom to clean up. No crying too! My brave boy!!

Finally it is out! Had been trying to loosen the tooth everyday. Just a slight pull of from his teacher and it's out! This teacher has a nickname ' the tooth fairy'. Most of the kids tooth are plucked by her! She must has some skill that those children allow her to do that!

Actually not really fall off but it's being pull off by hus.
Hus was helping Lervin to brush his teeth and accidentally knocked against the shaky tooth. This makes the shaky tooth even more shaky! Just a gentle pull and tadah! Tooth is out.

Boys 1st visit to dentist

Their first visit to dentist on Leroy's birthday!


The waiting corner.


The dentists are very professional and experienced in dealing with kids and that their consultation fees is reasonable. They knew how to handle them, talk to them nicely to put them at ease and they are able to complete the jobs quite fast. Also the equipment they use are scaled down to children's size, including the seats. There's also a tv overhead that the children can watch while work is getting done on their teeth. But on the downside they are on the expensive side if you can't use CDA account to pay but I can say money is well spent!


He is pretty nervous but the dentist is good in handling children and that makes him more comfortable.










Lervin needs to have an extraction due to he is feeling a bit of pain around the gum area and he has difficulty brushing that area too.
Before extraction. You can see the tooth had already erupt right behind the shaky one!


After extraction! I was kinda worried due to the gap but she assure me that the tooth will move forward when the new tooth fully emerge. The extraction is a fast one and the boy didn't feel much pain. =)

Although he saw korkor walking out with biting the blood stained gauze, he wasn't scared at all and followed me to the room. =)

If you had realise, Leroy had change his top! Hus bought a few tops from Cotton On kids and straight away change Leroy's top. After half hour of no eating and drinking due to the fluoride on their teeth, both boys are famish! Pontian wantan mee for lunch at United Square before fun time!

Getting myself prepared!

Almost time...

During dinner time, Lervin suddenly comes to me and told me one of his tooth is shaky. I was like 'omg! why so fast? eat too much sweets isit! Your tooth falling soon.' Well, I guess it's because of the words I said, Lervin is horrified and cry sadly. Very sad! He cried so hard and sad that I couldn't figure what he is trying to tell me. I consoled him and told him that a new tooth is waiting to pop out. When he finally settle down, he told me that he don't want to use the black black glue to glue his tooth back and started to cry again! The 'black black glue' should be referring to the silver filling. I find it too funny! He spend the rest of the night touching his shaky tooth......
