Leroy's 5th birthday (Part 3 of 4)

1 of the boy's wish is to go indoor playground and of course the parent grants his simple wish!
Here we are at Vivocity polliwogs! It is located at 3rd level of Vivocity (Opposite Marche Vivocity).

We frequent the other 2 branches at East Coast and Robertson Quay and this is our first time here except the boys. Since this considered located at town area and with lots of families to shop here we expect almost the same or bigger play arena. Compared to the other 2, this is much smaller.




For this, I took lots of shoots but don't know why every photo he closed his eyes! Lol!!


Toddlers area
For kids below 3, there is special toddlers area for them. In this space you can find a spinning mini carousel, a ball pit and several cups that spin round and round. Ideal for parents with younger children.


The spiderweb! Better to have an adult there if younger children are there. It might be a bit much of obstacles for them. =)




The see through floor.


At the back of the play arena is a ball pit with ball cannons which all 3 branch has. Their signature play I suppose.

Here's the 4 seater slides on the premises. Shorter and smaller but still the speed is fast!

On leave today intend to bring the kids to river safari but cards are being booked by another coll. =(  Blame it on my last minute decision.
Change of plan and brought the kids to polliwogs instead.
Brought my laptop along as this is the best time to blog while the hus join the boys. =)

A gathering session for the children. Mummies are all current or ex-colls. =)
Had signed up for their package, 8 visits cost $125 plus $20 cafe voucher. Quite a good deal as it is applicable for both weekdays and weekends and what's best? Unlimited of playtime!

Indoor Playground : Amazonia

It has been quite some time ever since we wanted to go to Amazonia Singapore @ Great World City to check it out and have fun with the boys and so here we are !!



We proceeded to fill up the registration form and brought them into the wonderland!
Amazonia is touted as Singapore’s newest family indoor amusement park where visitors can experience first 3D glow-in-the-dark indoor golf course, interactive Spaceball shoot-out game and a large children’s play-gym with a four-tier jumbo wave slide. This Indoor Playground surely has got the right ingredients to get kids of all ages truly pumped up. It also has a dining area with its own theme bistro.
The entrance fees is higher than what other place charge. Fun as it may be, the entrance fees and additional charges for the Golf & Spaceball games may be a tad too much for the wallet.

All in all, this play-gym keeps children entertained for hours with its challenging obstacles and jumbo wave slide. The dining area is spacious and comfortable too. Two hours are just nice, with short breaks in between and snacks / drinks from the bistro.






The 8 meters high, four-tier jumbo wave slide is the most popular feature in Amazonia. The 2 boys did stunts as well...

Indoor Playground : Kids Amaze @ Safra Jurong

Hus suggest bringing the boys to indoor playground and pass the mission of finding that place to his dear wife and that's me.... The boys had been to quite a few playgrounds and after googling online, we decided on Kids Amaze @ Jurong. We had our lunch at Jurong point.

My first impression when I entered Kidz Amaze at SAFRA Jurong: Dizzying & it smells. Perhaps the ventalitors ain't that good. Firstly, seeing so many kids running around made me dizzy. Secondly, the playground was so big and TALL!! It took me a long time to take in the whole place.. Everywhere I looked, there were slides and tunnels and play areas. I attempted to take some photos, but my phone camera simply couldn’t fit in the whole place. Thirdly, sanitizing of hands are not compulsory although it is provided. Fourthly, place is not really bright enough.
It made me nervous that some parts of the playground were not in great condition. The fact that some areas were closed off completely ‘for maintenance’ did not boost my confidence. We won’t be going back, not even on a weekday when it’s guaranteed to be emptier. I don’t like the structure of the playground and there are so many other indoor playgrounds available which are better and safer.



The most eye-catching thing in the playground is this super high and curvy slide that goes from the third storey of the building down to the first.

The air guns. Most of them are spoilted and for those in working condition, the other kids are hogging to it and we have to ask the kids to let my boys play.


Tea break before the boys continue till almost 7pm.
