17 Feb 12 ~ 19 Feb 12
Bali, Indonesia
9.45am flight via Air Asia
7.00am to reach Changi Airport T1
Body aches so much during the flight… That’s the problem with Airasia…
Anyway nothing beats travelling with a big group of colleagues !
We had already arranged and planned our itinerary before the trip as we have a coll who is a Indonesian.
It’s always better to get the local people helping with our planning. And it’s cheaper as well. =)
Arrive at the hotel and the security is quite tight. 2 barriers and they need to scan our baggage using the Baggage X-ray scanner just like the airport!
As the rooms are not ready yet. So we left our lugguage with the tour agent and they will bring it up to our room. =)
Here's the entrance ~

Shopping and touring after lunch !
Quite a few hiccups along the way.. But still we managed to visit the places that we want. =) Best buy is from Oley Oley wholesale shop. The things there are really cheap compared to outside (Bali). And I got myself a sundress for less than $10 !! Beach short for kids at less than $2 and the material is pretty good! Got a kinky bottle opener for hus and a pretty cute candle burner than comes with different type of fragrance for sis. Time is pretty rush as we only have half hour to shop there. =(
Tanah Lot
The tiny island was formed by the gradual erosion of the ocean tide over thousands of years. The temple of Tanah Lot is said to have been founded by the 16th-century priest Nirartha, one of the last priests to come to Bali from Java.
The temple of Tanah Lot stands on a rocky island just off the southwest coast of Bali. One of Bali's most sacred sea temples, Tanah Lot is dedicated to the guardian spirits of the sea. The temple itself is said to be guarded from evil by the sea snakes that inhabit the caves below.
Went back and here's our beautiful room ! Some are taken in the day...
