Simple Happiness

I have been trying to go on diet (less carbo intake) to lose weight but in vain. Actually lost a little like 0.5kg but fats % still slightly more than normal. Not my ideal weight. Although there isn't much effect, I still continue my less carbo diet. And today after dinner, took out my digital weighing scale and the digits on the scale had my eyes wide open. From the last weigh (dec'13) till now I lost 2kg and fats reduce by 5%! Am freaking happy and told hus! Lol! After few mins, I suddenly remember that there's once the analog scale at mum's place went conked and I thought I lost weight. 白开心一场. Told hus it might be another time like previous and laugh at myself. The hus tell me,"就是喜欢看你这样笑。很可爱." Not used to it but still love it! Lol!!!

Titans of the Past

Lervin is dinosaur lover! The moment he saw this event being advertise on TV, he has been pestering us to bring him there almost everyday.

It's a looooong journey from punggol to Queenstown. While on the train, practice show and tell speech with lervin and taught him some 听写. Well spent 1.15hrs!

Lervin is attending 2 sessions of class today as 1 of it is the makeup class thus it's the long 3hrs wait! After dropping lervin to his class, we shop around and brought leroy to aracde. He loves those exciting games like racing and shooting.



we went to our place to have a look! Did I mention the front blocks had started to get there keys? Mine is the 2nd last block and est key collection in Jun'14! Few more months to go! As we had a FB group for this estate, many are sharing their lobangs and ongoing sales and some of them even offer to let us view their units! It's really nice to know the neighbours before moving in. =)

Kolo Mee and Sarawak Laksa.

Knowing that I've wanted to try the kolo mee, hus brought us all the way to Bedok to have it! Happy day except that hot and humid weather!


Kolo Mee - $4.00
Was told this is the only authentic kolo mee in sg! Dont know how true it is as this is my first time trying as well. Not bad with go back for more.



Sarawak Laksa - $5.00
Saw quite a few ordering and I bought it to try as well. I still prefer sg laksa!

My generous boy.

We were talking about his day in school and he told me he went to bookshop and bought a ruler for his friend. I was thinking 'oh no! The bookshop party has start!' When I ask in detail, he told me his friend will not go studentcare from may or jun onwards and his friend ask lervin to buy him a blue minion ruler. Well, the boy really got his friend the 70cents ruler. He said he didn't want the friend to leave the centre that's why he bought the ruler for him thinking he will stay. Best is another friend it and request lervin to buy him 1 too but he didn't. Reason? Because he doesn't have enought money!! Omg... My too innocent boy....
Although it's nothing serious but still I find the need to explain to the boy and told him that his pocket money is for him to buy food from canteen during break. If he needs any stationary he can let me know and we will go out and buy together and if his friend ask him to buy them things, tell them to give him the money and he will help them to buy it. He understands and even tell me how he will reply his friend when they ask him to buy them things. I hope he REALLY understands!

Pasta for dinner.

Boys requested to have pasta for dinner again.
Saying about cooking, I miss my mum's homecook so much but I can only go over every friday….
Few more months and I can eat everyday!! Yay!

Really salute their generation… Able to cook so many different type of dishes and for my mum, she can wip up something similar dish just by watching cooking programs…
I hope I can be like my mum, able to cook different delicious dish for my family. I'm slowly picking up the skill from my mum. Thinking back, I can't believe I'm cooking out of my daily busy schedule for my family. I never thought I could step in the kitchen and wip up few dishes(takes longer time than mum. =p). The smell, washing, preparing and the time spend, I rather buy takeaway. But ever since kids came along, I know they can't eat out everyday. When you have no choice, no matter how much you hate it, you still have to do. So I make the effort to learn and to cook for them. From after work, fetching the kids, teaching, housework, cooking, I did everything myself. With no help from family members or maid. From the busy schedules I have, I only have 1-2hr for myself and by then it's already 11+pm. But still seeing them eat healthy and good makes it all worth it. =)

Manage to book the corporate card and here we are!
Had heard from friends that we have to go to the place earlier if we want to take the boat. Reach there at 12pm+ and the boat ride is full!!! Btw, the park opens at 9am. (-.-)
The boys are pretty upset that they couldn't take the boat ride. For the next trip there have to reach there before 9am to queue. Lol!
